In the latter half of the 2000’s several social networking websites came and went away, people just don’t use it. But, in the passage of time Facebook continued to be used and the main reason for it was the continuous updates. People from almost all fields and age group use it. But, the question is who and technically why people use Facebook. So, today we will check out, the group of people using Facebook.

Today, Facebook has the largest number of users as far as social networks are concerned and even small town or village guys are having their profile on Facebook. So, if you want to be connected with your friends from anywhere, it is the best place to be connected. Even if you want to make new friends, it is the best to do so. It is because the number of users here ensures enough number of people from your region and hence it becomes easier and almost 100% sure that you will get friends here.

               The world have already seen the effect of social media specially Facebook in case of revolutions and protests. An example can be the picture of small Turkish boy, Alan Kurdi, whose family was trying to cross the sea to reach Europe but the boy was washed to the shores. It just made the whole world cry. Moreover, in Anna Hazare’s protest in India in which the messages were spread to millions of people in just seconds. This group of people also use it because the number of users are quite larger than any other social networking website.

                In politics reaching a whole of crowd is important so that the views and policies could be spread making it easier for politicians to gain votes. In the past elections America saw the power of social media in politics when Barack Obama used it on large scale to attract voters on his side. In India Narendra Modi, just rocked his opponents in just 1 year of promotion of his party and himself on the social media which includes Twitter and others also, but since the number and category of voters are varied and large on Facebook, it was more important. The whole of Facebook was converted to his side and thus making it a wonderful victory.

                Every government, its official and other departments need to connect to its people. Mainly for feedback of its policies and for spreading the news of new policies and its rules along with implementation strategies. Again the number of users on Facebook makes it the best tool to serve the purpose of the Governments. Several governments have done it in the past while many are getting on Facebook.

               The website has large number of people and thus have every category of them. The businessmen can easily recognize the perfect people for its marketing strategies and target them on Facebook by advertisements. It has been made easier by the Facebook authorities, by filtering the advertisements which are shown to you on the basis if the kind of pages you like and the kind of group to which you are member of.

                 Today, Google’s search engine algorithm is designed in such a way that the websites with higher number of visits and shares would be shown higher on the search engine. Thus, blog owners and other website owners find the groups and create pages of their website to promote themselves. They just share the links of their new blog posts or new websites they have launched. The people here visit the links and share them so that others could see it. Thus, the websites are shared automatically.

Today, in the world of high competition it has become very tough to get a job. And what happens when there is a vacancy and you miss it. The reason being that you may not know about it. Thus, job seekers have made several groups and pages so that the information are spread to all the similar kind of people.

                 Most of the youngsters are working and studying away from home and their beloved     ones. Video calling is one of the best ways to connect with them. Facebook allow its users to have one of the decent quality of video calling and that too for free. This is not provided by any other social network, which has, made Facebook stand way ahead of others.
